we just dropped off a bunch of goodies at The Dandy Lion--across the river in New Albany, Indiana.

if you have a chance, stop by & visit their shop. they've done a great job with the space and in such a short amount of time. it's full of lovely handmade & vintage items--displayed on a great assortment of revamped found objects and fixtures. we so appreciate that these girls aren't taking the Ikea-boring-easy-way-out!








oh and visit their neighbors The Little Chef while you're at it!

a subscription to this Aussie mag, so I can quit rereading the one issue I have.

excited to see this, based on one of the best books I've read in recent years. i think it opens in Louisville in October.

TUESDAY TRAVELS

a coupla weekends ago we went to visit family & friends in West Virginia.

DD had his very first Skeenies hot dog.
The 85 year old owner is such a sweetie and she still works the counter! She and her husband opened it in the 1950's.
