we also did some more printing for Inherited Leather last week. i think these are going to be turned into belts and clutches.

lolley

last week we printed up some owlies for Ms. Kathleen Lolley, so she can sew up more of her sweet little pillows.

inherited leather

we're super excited to be printing for the lovely Sue at Inherited Leather. it's the first time we've printed on suede and leather & we're really happy with the results. Sue salvages the fabric from unwanted garments, gives us the pieces to print on, then she sews them into bags and belts. she's been doing some collaborating with Kathleen Lolley (owl art below) and also using various found images. we'll prolly post some more photos, once she has sewn these guys into something.

fielded

just finished up printing covers for the new Fielded 7", for our pals at Sophomore Lounge Records. due out March 2011.

knot

just finished up printing a batch of wedding invitations for a cute lil couple. design by Pedale Design.

cropped out

Soon we're gonna be printing up some tickets and posters for Cropped Out, a new music festival we're super excited about, happening in Louisville on October 1st-3rd.
In their words:
"Cropped Out is a locally and independently developed music festival set to take place in Louisville, KY on the first weekend of October 2010. The fest is designed to highlight the creative efforts of Louisville natives, friends, family, and fellow thinkers from Nashville to Chicago to Brooklyn and beyond."

Some of the bands have been announced: Magik Markers, Spectre Folk, Moon Duo, Julianna Barwick, Cave, Pissed Jeans, Sapat, Catherine Irwin, and tons more.

We'll also be playing the fest with our friend Brent, as Gangly Youth. Hmmm...maybe we should practice?

We Wanna

Me & DD are in a band called Gangly Youth, with our friend Brent. We haven't played in front of people, but we have a lot of fun making noise in Brent's garage. We're putting out our first 7" later this month and over the weekend we hand-printed 300 sleeves for the record. Yeah!
