We've Got Hang Ups

We're really excited about these ready-to-hang prints we started making a few weeks ago! We're calling them Hang Ups.

They're printed on canvas, stretched over a wood frame, and just waiting for a nail & a wall. Or just prop em up somewhere nice. We made this batch for an art show, but we'll have some more in our shop in the next few days.

Print. Print. Hang. Hang.

Last weekend was the opening of Buswater, a group show we were part of in Charleston, WV. It's also open this coming weekend, for all you West Virginians. Here are some photos of us gettin er ready...

Who Ate Em All?

DD is obsessed, but is the Thornton's on Taylorsville Road seriously the only place that has them?

Buswater

Headed to Charleston, WV today for the opening of Buswater, a group art show that we have some new prints in. Thanks to the lovely Jamie Miller for asking us to be part of it!

We also get to celebrate the birthdays of two of our best faves while we're there. We're crazy about these two.

Steamy

The other day it was super humid, like bad even for Louisville. I was trying to take some photos of our garden and the camera lens kept fogging up. I got annoyed and stopped, but after looking at the photos I think I like it better than how they usually turn out with that too fancy digicam.

Public Art Doesn't Have To Be Bad

So, I reckon I'm a little slow on hearing about this, but a few weeks ago I first read about A Love Letter For You, a mural project by Stephen Powers in Philadelphia. This almost seems too good to be real to me.

On the other hand, these are good and all, but do they really compare to the public art we saw while walking around Germantown:

Behold, The Mini Ferris Wheel

Finally, it's carnival season again! I loved the looks of this kiddie ride tonight. Future friend commune/ dream home will definitely have one of these in the yard.
